Hello.

Here we have a modify Kondo KHR2 with additonal C7 mainboard, camera and Sandai Lite version software. The demo video is about 16 minutes.
Voice, speech, reading, color, weather recognition. Voice control, automation, AI center of gravity, distance, AI talking and much more.

I call the robot Aiko. It cost me about $900-$1000 for C7 board, camera, battery and some metals and wires.
It wasn:t that bad, I thought it would cost me more to modified it.

There is still some bugs I need to fix.

Still working for next version.

1) Human motion sync with Aiko.
Example
Through the camera the robot will move its left arm as you move your left arm.
Basically, the robot copy what you do.

2) simple taste bud..(in liquid form only).
Using certain sensors with sandai software, the robot
can taste the difference between water, orange juice, coke, coffee etc...
This should be fun to program.

The robot is controlled by Sandai Lite software which is loaded inside C7 board.
3 options, automation, voice activation or manual overwrite.

The software control the center of gravity through the camera and distance of object for automation. 5% error.
(Therefore, you don:t need the extra sensor like gyro, accelometer, and sonar ir.)
You could put the sensors in too if you want...

Three version of the sandai softwares.
1) Sandai Software Alpha (which was original which I have to convert to advance and lite version)
2) Sandai Software Advance - design for larger robot 1.2 meter to 1.7 meter.
3) Sandai Software Lite - design for smaller robot like kondo... 300cm to 700cm.

Currently working new additional feature for the Advance version.

If you have any other questions please do not hestiate to ask.

Sorry, I have to make the video into two pieces since youtube only allow max of 10minutes

Brilliant!! That is great. I also am working on making a autonomous humanoid and I know the long hours and hard work you put into it. There is allot of support out there for people making fighting humanoids but not allot of resources for thinking humanoids. I cant wait to see more videos of your bot.

love the way he interpreted the formulas on the page and solved the equations. could have really been useful to have him during high-school exams.

Hi

I stop the Kondo Project, simply because I have been busy with Aiko Project.
It is more fun to build a female android then a metal robot.

For math recognition, the trick is to have a good camera otherwise it
can not tell the difference between number "1" and "7".

It was designed for my little cousin for her to check her homework.
(To see if she gets the correct answer for her homework).

It can solve even simple math calculus.

Maybe one day when I finished the Aiko project, I will go back and re-designed the kondo robot to be 0.8 meter in height so that it can bring you a cup with water automation

I promise that I will release Sandai software as SDK for free.
But I am so busy right now with Project Aiko, I don:t have the time to work on the SDK.
With the SDK and about $500 in hardware upgrade you should be able to the same as in the above two video.
