If you have volt meter just check the voltage of the battery and look at say 20,30,40 min intervals and see if what it is. you can then use this to see if it's worth the extra time.

I'm in the UK and the battery operation it is very low, I'm using the one from the khr-1hv robot kit with an uk adaptor....I tried 2 hours and 3 hours and the robot stay up only for 20min :( I should charge it more? maybe it is better to use a power supply unit.....
