Possible, but not likely.

It's specifically designed for the KHR-2HV. The different KHR-1HV geometry could be a significant challenge.

I asked the staff at Kondo's RoboSpot facility in Akihabara, and 'officially' they said no, but seemed to imply that someone might be able to make it work with the KHR-1HV with some hacking. You could try it, assuming you're willing to run the risk of it not working and ending with a pile of very expensive plastic.

I-Wei (Crabfu) has actually built one for his KHR-2HV, and really likes it a lot. He might know more.

Good question. I have no idea, and have never heard any of the Kondo people pronounce it. :o
I'll probably be going into Akihabara this weekend, so if I get a chance I'll ask them. :D

Hi, I bought the Genex suit for my KHR-1HV and it fitted fine without any real changes to it. Looks great. Hope this helps.

Oh, really? What changes did you have to make?

I had to trim a bit extra off the rear cover. I think that was about it! I will take some photos and post them online.

Would it be possible for you to post a picture? I'm curious, because it looked to me like the 1HV's torso would be too thick. The suit's shoulder pieces looked like they wouln't fit. I'm glad to hear it works, though. Tons of people have been asking me about this.

Ok, so here are some pics. Obviously still a lot of work to do but I'm getting there.
