Has anyone tried using a sonar sensor (max sonar?) with their KHR-1HV - to detect the proximity of an object or some ones hand (say) and then have action(s) attached to different sensed distances?

I have a ping))) sonar sensor. Its worth a try, I will give a shot on my 1HV when I get some free time.
