Before spending that kind of money lets first make sure someone has already done this.
ie: (a) that RCB-3HV can be powered by 6V battery and will pass on the 6V to the KHR1 (ICS786) servos. (b) whether or not the step-up 6V-10V "booster" is required and how does it co-exist with the 6V servos.


The articles on Robots-Dreams mentioned that it is possible but i haven't seen a final conclusive testament:
