hello all just looking around the web trying to find some where in the states I can get parts from and found this is this thing old? I am assuming as its a krg-2 not 3 but thats like thinking the 1hv is older... from what I am reading its a dual axis gyro ... I think any thoughts?

yeah it's dual axis. but u only need one axis as it is most likely only to fall backwards and forward :?

I have to disagree here.
These gyros control only one axis but it will control 2 servos at once independently.
The way this gyro is used is in between the controller board and the servos you want to control.
Now if you want to control both ankle servos (forward and backward tilt) you need both channels which this gyro has.
I used 2 of these gyros to control 4 servos (ankle and foot servos or x and y axis)
So you need two of these gyros to control x and y axis.

Btw i have 2 of them for sale for i don't need them anymore.
They work well.
