I had a problem running the sample motions. With my 1HV I found out through trial and error that my bottom servos(ankles) were reversed when playing the motions. I am not sure if I have set something wrong by mistake I just correct the problem by manually reentering the right values. You might try this, I am also running the 2hv motions for soccer not sure if it matters much.

The initial set up position for many people seems to have an element of luck.

Within other another thread I started called "lack of trim on KHR-1HV" Tempusmaster is trying to find a table that would contain all the standard default settings that are required for the standard moves to work.

I think it would make like a lot easier for us novices to get off to better start. progress for me at least is a little slow and frustrating !

I could help you via yahoo chat if you had a web camera. My handle is diabolicobscurity@yahoo.com. Also if you don't have any gyro's installed forget about walking and most of the soccer motions. It has to be near perfect without them and even then it very unstable without help of the gyro. I noticed you need the ics settings I have mine set for the soccer motions as instructed in the manuals. Do you have a radio controller ? I have the krc_3ad most of the soccer motions are written for a controller so without them it would only take one forward step instead of the whole motion. In the beginning I didn't have any gyros or controllers so I wrote all the motions myself which was to say long and tedious process. As a a progressed in my motions ,which was good for understanding of the program and use, I still couldn't match the soccer motions I saw in youtube videos so I knew at that point that I needed to invest more money. Now he is pretty close to the kondo cup participants but I still have much room for improvement and need upgrade servos.

Thanks for your offer of help.

I have now got the Gyros and Accelerometer working so just need to put some good moves together.

It has just taken me a while to absorb all the informatioin already on the forum.

All goos fun and very rewarding as you see the robot balancing himself (herself?) for the first time.

Cheers
