I have the TEC-3 and to anyone who has one I would love to hear your suggestions for where you have it mounted.

With the Logicool receiver mounted it seems quite bulky. It certainly isn't going to fit under his back panel. I might try to play around attaching it to his head. It could look quite cool, but I'm worried about it getting damaged up there. ...maybe I can find him a nice hat

Looking forward to hearing your ideas!

Ah, well. you live and learn eh? I had originally mounted the RCB-3J in my KHR-2HV the way the manual had said, in the middle of the plate, and have never looked back. I hadn't realised that it can be mounted to one side. Thanks to a very speedy reply from someone at Hotproceed I discovered this little gem of information and am now well on my way to wireless control.

With the RCB of to one side, there is plenty of room for TEC wireless receiver to sit next to it. Because of the raised screw points it won't sit flat at the moment but I am going to mount a small piece of circuit board to those screw points to give it something nice and even to sit on. Another benefit of that is there will be enough space under the blank circuit board to thread a length of electrical tape under which will wrap nicely around the wireless receiver and solve the problem of securing it!

Should be a very neat and easy job.

Zaboomafu, sorry to hi-jack your thread. I hope my issue will help you too.

I would once again like to take this opportunity to say a very BIG thank you to HotProceed. The help I got was super fast, in English and right to the point. Also their product is superb! Thanks HotProceed!
