Hi Isobot

get the gyro's, they are a real help with stability. not sure about the led, but i think something could be made to run from an unused servo channel.

Cheers

Thanks anyone know if the heart 2 heart software runs on vista or just xp???
Also are you saying the robot needs one gyro or two??? I thought one and also the option of getting the accelerator... I am definately buying the 2-hv, but was curious if the robonova is any good... Thanks

I use 2 gyro's 1 forward-back and 1 left-right and an accelerometer so that it knows which way it falls, dont know about that vista as i use xp.

The gyro's are fitted in the centre part of the main body and they just plug into a port like the servos, the accelerometer is fitted in the top of the back cover and that just plugs in the same way.
Both are almost plug and play, but you do need to set them up in the software.

Hey-

Almost plug and play. The gyro set-up was straight forward for me, but the RAS2 is not working. My AD3 measurement is less than the kondo acceleration manual (366-372) at 272-284. I also adjust the -10 on my border value of set 1 (390) and +10 of the border value for set 2 (170). I play the motion (it gets up from belly and back) while connected to pc. But, it won't get up from a fall, when disconnected from pc. Any idea what I'm missing?

Thx-

Hey , i am looking to get a Khr 2hv in the next week or two. with Genex suit and gyro, even accelerator. Soon to get the radio control unit too!
So i will be in the same situation as you too.
There are a lot of people on here who will help you thats for sure!! I have had lots of help when i needed it. I am sure more people will repsond to your posts. I was flicking through as many old posts as possible and found the pdf manuals explaining information about setting up the gyros, accelerators etc. Even though without having anything in front of me its not helping me to that extent. But it is helpful. And will no doubt come in very handy when i order!!

yeah Dave, good to hear... I can't wait to get mine... I will probably order it next week at the latest... I already printed out all the manuals in full color, and have been reading them over and over...:) I even bound them in folders, and all... I want to build a testing setup for my robot, just like the guys at Kondo use in their videos... I wonder where I can get what I need, and specs, etc... especially the logos and stickers, etc... hmmm where to go. I think I will email them directly from their site, maybe they have the info I need...
keep in touch... you buying the combo kit up front, or buying it in pieces???

Hey Isobot! have pm'd you. But dont know what to buy really! I dont know where you would get the specs for a testing platform , unless any of the robo one sites have any information?? Otherwise the kondo site would be useful. If you are looking for the logos then im pretty sure you can get a signmaker to knock up a few quite cheap. As long as you have an eps file of the logos then a signmaker could quickly get that cut out for from any colour/grade vinyl!!
Thats what i intend to do for any stickers etc i need for my Genex suit!
If you need the eps formats or any help etc let me know, could try and help out!!

Plus does anyone know or have seen any clear genex suits been painted?? I have only ever seen the kondo pre painted one. I wanted to see what others have done.

Hi isobot

The stickers all come with the robot, numbers for the wires on the servos and logos for the robot, but you have to cut them out.

If anyone is interested in wirless then the PS2 logitec controller (£15) and TEC-1 board (£45ish depending on import tax!) is a good option and it works very well.
