KHR ICPS PC Interface via rs232 Com Port

Hi Gang,

I would like to connect my RCB-3 via a com port not the USB. I saw in previous posts that pins 5,4&2,3 equate to the three output pins. There is a resistor between 4 & 2. Can anyone kindly indicate if this solution is adequate and what ohm resistor is required. Secondly is there amore professional design or unit that I can be directed.
