i looked every where for an application that would allow me to load up say 5 gaits. and choose from those.
like
1 would be walk forward
2 would be sit down
etc

and when u press the button , it then runs that gait.

Is this very hard to do, or whut do you guys think.

in Heart2Heart there's the notion of "Motion" - where you define gaits
and there's "Scenario" where you define a sequence of motions
when you press the button it will run whatever is in M0

i'm not sure that answers your question though.. :o

Hi,

I wrote a simple utility in C# to control the Kondo. Nothing major, just something small for fun.

You can check it out here: http://www.conceptualinertia.net/index.php/2006/06/21/one-armed-kondo/

Well, sounds kind of reasonable since his robot has no right arm....

hehehhe
i had thought that at first, then i thought no cant be.
cause the servos dont even initialise, i really like his program otherwise.
hope he will be able to repair the missing arm control
:)

His robot should be easy enough to fix. Swap the head servo for the broken arm servo with bad gear teeth, then put some replacement gears on order. I bought a set of replacement metal gears when I got my KHR-1 but haven't had to use them yet.

As for the program, if all the other servo control sections are working it shouldn't be too hard to dig through the source code and get the right arm working, but I haven't looked at it yet. Is it possible that he just turned off those servos in the code or commented part of it out since his wasn't working?

Can you program in C++?

I rewrote the Heart to Heart program for my PDA in Visual C++.

It is 95% complete but needs some work.

Looking for a good C++ programmer to take over the project.

Hi,

Yeah, obviously I haven't tested right arm functionality =P
I just ordered some new replacement parts from this site.

Yes I can program in C++ (if that question was directed at me). However, I'm not really interested in taking on a project, I have enough to do as it is already =)

I'll update the source for the right arm once I get the parts in the mail and do a little more testing.

Next up:
- walkcycle
- hook up a webcam for vision
- apply A* pathfinding (code is already done)
