I'm spinning off a new topic from the Gyro and accelerometer thread showing how to modify the POS screen in Heart-to-Heart ver3.0 for the KHR-2HV. I translated page 26 & 27 of the RCB-3J manual showing the customization:

http://robosavvy.com/Builders/rrdiaz30/ ... g26_27.zip

Here is a pdf file with the how to's:

http://robosavvy.com/Builders/rrdiaz30/ ... ations.pdf

Let me know if you have any changes or additions.

Rick

PS - I'm working on a doc for ICS servo setting through the RCB-3J and stock cable.

Hi, rrdiaz30

great work on the translation you've done a really good job.

Can you tell me how the GUI for the software looks on your machine? Mine looks fine until i double click on the POS1 and i get this.

can anyone tell me why my GUI isn't working . Is it a resolution problem?

Hey TinMan,

That's exactly how it looked on my computer when I first used the software. There's also some bold text values that look funky. The software looks like it was rushed into production with no QA/QC. You can fix that by unlocking that GUI and moving the sliders around. Check out this document:

http://robosavvy.com/Builders/rrdiaz30/ ... ations.pdf

Your image indicates that the sync button is not toggled on. Check it, then double click to get the POS button, then open the POS GUI. You should see the channel boxes with two radio buttons +5V (H) and 0V (L) if there is a good COM connection. Toggle the +5V (H) on channel 1 then right-click to get to a sub-menu where it say's SERVO. Put a check mark on SERVO, then you should get the sliders.

Let me know if you need further clarification.

Cheers...Rick Diaz

Hi rick,

Thanks for the info about the GUI lock. i was up for hours last night trying to work that one out.

I know the sync box wasn't ticked as i'm at work and just opened up the application to take a screen shot from, but thanks for pointing it out for me.

I'm still trying to get round to calibrating my servos at the moment as i think i have a dud battery, so i'm stuck half way through the build.

Hi,
very good work.
I have one question, how do you get the background image in the center of the window?
My image is always on the left side. This is vey stupid for formating.

it's all down to the image.

say you want the box to be 1200 * 800, make an image that size with your robot in the middle. then the box will always be the same size.

Yes, this idea i had, too.

But,the image in the document seems to be in the middle and not that the image is in the whole window. The image has a differnt backcolur then the program because of this I thought there would be a possibility to put the window in the middle of the window.

This would be better for working at different screens.
