USB2Kondo Device

I posted a picture of the first prototype of a USB2Kondo ICS adapter I made. It's similar to the Kondo ICS adapter in functionality, except that it provides 8 channels and external power connector.

This is just a utility device for testing and prototyping purposes, eventually I seek to build a programmable RCB-4/KCB-1 clone (with more power and features).

This version is not all that exciting because it only has 1 SIO channel and very little to separate it from the ICS USB adapter sold by Kondo. I intend to make something that could potentially replace the RCB/KCB. Something like the Pololu Maestro controller (http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1352), except tuned for high-speed serial and the Kondo specifics.

I'm not all that interested in selling something, it's just hobby. I'll mostly just publish the schematics, PCB, and bill-of-materials so you could just build it yourself, improve the design, integrate the circuit into your own project, etc. However, I may assemble and keep stock a few just in case someone wants to buy a finished one from me...
