Hi all,

Has anyone ever order the kit
KRT-1 Radio Control Unit Wifi kit

I have order a month ago, Never really pay attention to it.
But the stuff they ship to me look different from the picture they posted.

I am not sure if they shipped the wrong stuff, or the picture is wrong.
I don't really know since I never got it to work.

My Wifi kits come with.

ICS usb adapter
KRT-3
KRR-1

If you order the Wifi kit... can you confirm to me that you have the same stuff as I did or different stuff.

The picture I found on the net for the Wifi kit is:
http://www.roboporium.com/remotecontrols.html

Which does NOT look like the stuff they ship to me, or maybe they ship the right stuff, but the picture is wrong.

thanks in advance

Hi,
you got a different product, called KRT-3.
Shown in the image of Roboporium is the KRT-1 remote kit.

Both kits use the same frequencies (25MHz). These frequencies are not allowed in many countries other than Japan.

KRT-3 uses USB
KRT-1 uses COM Port

KRT-3 comes with included PC-ICS USB adapter.

KRT-1 can be worn attached to your arm, does not need to be attached to the port of the laptop directly as KRT3, so that you have better range with KRT-1.

The housing of KRT-1 has no effect other than holding the electronics and power/on off. KRT-1 is powered by battery (9V). KRT-3 is powered by USB.
