As you may have read on our forum Makerbot has released a new Extruder (called the MK6 Stepstruder http://store.makerbot.com/stepstruder-mk6-upgrade.html) which is the successor of the MK5 Plastruder that equipped with the first batches of Thing o Matics.
Makerbot is currently offering 10% discount on the Mk6 Plastruder Upgrade Kit to all Thing o Matic owners who wish to upgrade their MK5 Plastruder to MK6 Stepstruder.
Please note that this is a direct offer from the Manufacturer to end users.
Therefore to take advantage of the offer you need to order the Kit through the Makerbot US Store (http://store.makerbot.com) and enter a special discount code.
If you were one of those early adopters and would like to take advantage of this offer please contact sales@robosavvy.com so we can send you the proper discount code and guide in any question you may have.
Upgrading to the MK6 Stepstruder is OPTIONAL.
