Hi all
Limor has brought back some videos from InnoRobo with very cool gadgets.
Here I am posting the videos of the new DarwinOP. If haven't heard about it yet, it's the most advanced Humanoid Built by Robotis so far.
It runs Linux on an
Intel Atom at 1.6Ghz + CM-730 Board to interface with sensors and the servo bus.
The servos are
RX-28M, a modified version of RX-28 with a magnetic encoder.
The Robot includes all the state of the art technology such as WiFi, Camera, etc.
The
walk is Dynamically generated using Inverse Kinematics.
The Robot is also capable of playing pre recorded motions.
This is DarwinOP demo mode: presenting itself and doing some demo moves.
[EDIT] Here is another video (an official presentation) from Virginia tech [/EDIT]
In this Video DarwinOP is doing BLOB tracking (looking for the Orange ball).
As usual please go ahead with your thoughts and comments !
Pedro.
