Here's another twist to the upload story:
If you upload html pages named 0.htm, 1.htm, 2.htm etc. into your upload directory, then when you browse to their respective URL (robosavvy.com/Builders/
username/2.htm), the page will be transformed, giving it the RoboSavvy look. Nice user pages will be linked later on RoboSavvy's main tree menu.
Example :
http://robosavvy.com/Builders/Meltdown/3.htm
These pictures belong to
Meltdown.
In order to create a photo-album like the one we've created for Meltdown's pictures, follow these steps:
1) Download and install the shareware called
ImageWalker
2) Copy the 3 template files located in
http://www.robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/imagewalker_template/ into:
C:\Program Files\ImageWalker201\WebTemplates\
3) Copy all the images you want in the album, into one directory and change their names to 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg etc.
4) Run imagewalker, go to the directory containing your number-named images. Select from the menu:
Tools -> Create Web Pages...
5) Press
Next> on the wizard. Select "all files in the folder" and
Next> again
6) Select
RoboSavvy Style template (stylesheet doesn't matter).
Next>
7) Enter Thumbnail image 125x125, Jpeg, Quality..
Next>
8) Select
Normal View Style. Press "View Options". Columns=4 Rows=9. Enter "Header and Footer".. OK, Next>
9) Select the output directory (not the same one as the numbered pictures folder!). Make sure the option "Place auxiliary files in a subfolder" is
NOT selected!
Next>
10) Default index file is
0.htm , Home link is
robosavvy.com , Default extension is
.htm .
Next>
11) Edit the resulting html files if you want to add comments. It's easy even if you don't know html.
12) Upload all the files created by ImageWalker to your Upload directory (one at a time.. sorry for the inconvenience).
