The report is, "first hatch" Pleos will be shipping from UGOBE this Tuesday. Don't be fooled by their cuteness... not only are they equipped with one of the most sophisticated comercially available AI systems to date (at least that I'm aware of), they're also quite capable of being a great developmental platform.

Pleo = 40+ sensors, 14 motors, two ARM7 main processors, four Toshiba sub-processors, and no remote (operates on his own). Worth checking out!

This disturbs me! On the Sci-Fi channels new tech device website called DVICE. They torture a Pleo until it dies. They even have a video of it! Maybe this should not disturb me put it does! Some of the comments about the video even make it worse! :(
