Amazing mobility for the new version of REEM humanoid robot from pal-robotics.com. Great control, shifting weight when sitting, standing, handling of heavy object..

Japan & Korea -- here's your Spanish contender!

Image

There are currently 7 engineering job openings in Spain for humanoid robot research.

Sponsorship of this massive endeavor is thanks to a United Arab Emirates company Pal Technology - part of the Pal Group that "caters to different segments of the IT industry, Security, Wood Works, Water Desalination, Construction, Travel, Car Rental, TV and Trading.."

There's more than one way to skin a cat when it comes to sponsoring ambitious robotics projects. :)

New guy says hello - that's me standing behind a naked REEM-A in Barcelona. Fantastic bots. I was amazed with how smooth and quiet the movement is.

But I can't seem to get an image to post properly, either in BBCode or HTML.
