Update:

RoboCup 2009 is over and the Darmstadt Dribblers won everything one can win as a team taking part in the Humanoid League/KidSize, namely:
-winner of soccer games.
-winner of Technical Challenges.
-winner of the "Louis Vuitton Humanoid Cup" for the best humanoid taking part in RoboCup ( http://www.robocup.org/overview/LVCUP.html ).

We´re quite happy that we finally made it after some years of trying

the videos are more impressive this year than previous years. humanoids are faster and stable.

But it´s true, the top 4 teams indeed use Robotis servos (and most others too).

Oh no, the secret marketing plot for getting hundreds of Brüno-Fans to buy the robot by subconcious manipulation has been exposed.

But seriously, there´s a good reason for that name, you can read about it here:

Incidentally, even back then another "Bruno" appeared in the german media shortly after the name was given to our robot:

To get back on topic, team FUmanoids uploaded a video of one of the testgames we did against them in the first days of RoboCup 2009. One can clearly see that both team´s robots improved quite a bit in the days leading up to the final match.
