Hi
In preparation for Christmas we have reviewed pricing on some of our latest Sparkfun items, including:
-
SPI Shortcut - a nice tool that will let you control, test, debug and access SPI devices over the USB port. The board implements a command line interface (console) over the virtual COMM port to control the devices using a simple tool liek HyperTerminal with simple text mode commands.
-
WiFly GSX module: an 802.11b/g WiFi module that implements a UART over WiFi.
The module runs a Telnet server where you enter any data which in turn gets sent to the UART (at TTL level) on the board. The same happens in the reverse direction: data entered on the local UART is sent to the clients logged on to the Telnet server on the board.
Add it to an Arduino, a BitWhacker (PIC) or any other project and you're good to go.
It's even a great complement for our POP-BOT to drive it and query it over the air.
- We've also got some new, more powerful microcontrollers including the latest Arduinos, and a new 32bit BitWhacker for those who prefer PIC (programmable in C
and also BASIC with built in real time debugger) .
- Jumper Wires Premium - these are neat little wires with female<->female and male-male connectors that make it a breeze to connect any device to your breadboards or other pcbs in a clean and effective way.
They flew off the shelves the moment we advertised them (so we're now waiting for more) but we should be getting more in the next few weeks.
Stay tuned.
