Hello,
Sorry to dig up such an old thread, but this is very relevant to my interests! I'd like to run a stock ps3 controller through an atmel or pic. It was previously stated I could use an AVR32 chip due to its USB capabilities. Would this imply that I could simply purchase a usb bluetooth dongle and connect to the ps3 controller directly that way?
Ultimately, I want to control a combat robot (2 pwm outputs for h-bridge motor controllers, and one more output to generate pwm signal for large external BLDC controller. Compactness is critical here, I want the smallest footprint possible under about 12mm tall. It would be ideal to be able to use one of the many bluetooth modules available for on-board applications, but it sounds like this is not possible due to HID requirements?
Thanks for any help,
Eric
