Tomotaka Takahashi (ROBO-GARAGE) has designed a new Evolta robot for Panasonic. In 2008, Evolta set a world record by climbing a rope up the Grand Canyon on 2 AA batteries. In 2009, Evolta set another world record when it traveled 23km non-stop at Le Mans on 2 AAs. This year, the new robot will travel from Tokyo to Kyoto (500km!) on rechargeable batteries!
