            The personal robotics companion challenge is no longer a Japanese craze. 
 
 
Philips (a Dutch multinational company in case you didn't know) are about to launch a robotic talking quadraplegic cat.
As the videos clearly show, unlike with normal cats, interaction with the beast does not necessitate the use of antihistamine. However, a sledge hammer can come in handy.
