http://www.engadget.com/2011/02/11/vote-for-the-2010-engadget-awards/

There are only 6 robots: NAO, AR Drone, NASA Robonaut 2, Anybots QB, Willow Garage PR2, Neato XV 11.
I don't think they are all on the same category but as for my point of view I have only 2 o them and ... I voted for NAO!

NAO. Been around for awhile.
AR Drone. What?
Robonaut2. Maybe in 2012.
Anybots. Hopefully they make some money and put it towards their humanoid!
PR2. PR2 and ROS really broke out in 2010.
Neato. Quite cool, but we've seen vacuums before.

So yeah. PR2 is the vote for me.

NAO has unveiled a new market for robots that didn't exist before but there's no interesting news from Aldebaran in 2010. Nasa's mechatronics is of no consequence to robotics market. PR2 is a great story of perserverance and opencv is of great importance to mankind but the robot itself is ok.. nothing exciting. Anybots is as much a robot as a traxxxas with a webcam. Neato is yet another vacuum cleaner.

Engadget: do your research!

AR Drone for me.
It is a rare retail robot success story.
Really culminates a lot of the success factors that are arguably critical in any future robotics toy product:

1) low cost of materials and manufacturing = right priced for retail

2) high performance cpu running linux bringing out "magical" effect

3) clever symbiotic relationship retail distribution and marketing with HMV (UK)

My voting is:
NAO: Nothing new since 2009. PR2 is far more leading edge and open.
AR Drone: If all the bots were in front of me, this is probably the one I would test first and get bored with first.
Robonaut 2: Will be fun to see how they integrate this torso into the craft and crew, but otherwise not very interesting unless you are building your own space station too.
Anybots QB: Appears to me rather a confusing product. A sort of evolutionary dead end now replaced by mobile technology.
Neato xv 11: Most fun hackable in 2010 for the rangefinder.

My vote >>> Willow Garage PR2: The one I want, or more realistically, the one I want to emulate ! Most useful Robot, plus, best Software, support, and community

Neato for me, as it is leading towards a very cheap, effective laser ranger system :)
