Really undecided, i dont know what to do i really dont!

spend £540 on an hovis eco, plus import taxes, woo they might be nice.

Or go bioloid/robobuilder.

Just seems easier to go for one of the later. but then Hovis has some extra appeal with and without shell..... Unless of course you can build a decent shell for bioloid!

My advice is to take time to compare certain characteristics as:

- PRICE
Robobuilder vs Hhovis Eco vs Bioliod

- Material used in the gear of servos:
- plastic,
- extra resistence plastic
- metal gears

-Motion Edition Software:
Bioloid, and Hovis have a 3D model that helps a lot in the preparation and editing of the
movements ,thath is misses in software robobuilder

-Torque of servos

- Progaming options in different languages, C + +,. net, .. ect ...

Again thanks for the heads up and great help!

I'm going to have a sit down and think before i make a decision.

At this moment in time the hovis eco is the way forward.

But we will see how my mind develops of the next few days.

Bioloid is still in the back of my mind, i think i have gone away from robobuilder.

I am not going to name any brand. I always go for something established and used by a lot of people for getting help, software upgrades, etc.

I hear what you are saying on that front definitely in regards to help and experience...... hmmm

I did email dongbu on Wednesday regarding parts/help etc.
And they replied today. so i was impressed with their responsiveness!
The contact was Daniel Hwang.

However they also mentioned robosavvy as a uk distributor?

I thought that Herkulex.com would have been a dongbu site, so I sent feedback about broken links and incomplete specs to them some time ago. A few weeks later I got a reply that it was run by a distributor instead, but they had dropped Herkulex due to difficulties working with Dongbu.

Would be interesting to hear Savvy's experience too, since they are listed but out of stock here.
