new Herkulex servos with 40, 60 kg cm torque

At an electronics show in Korea last week, Dongbu Robot announced two new servos for their Herkulex line. The DRS-0401 will have 40 kg cm of torque, while the DRS-0601 will offer 60 kg cm.
Expected release is in January or February. Prices are not yet set, but I was told that they would be very competitive with other brands.

These definitely look impressive.
I posted somewhere that we've been keeping a close eye on the progress of Dongbu.
We've sold a few of the DRS 0101 and 0201 servos and customer feedback has been good.
I guess the issue with the current market is that there are so many brands copying each other that it's difficult to stand apart. In the case of Dongbu they have certainly invested in a standing apart by offering a much more flexible control mechanism.
Having said this, Dongbu seems to be certainly gaining traction worldwide.
It'll also be interesting to see if they will use these high power servos on some new product.
