As noted by others in this forum the Motor on/off command (0xEB) does not seem to work in serial mode

. However, there is another command that includes a motor off function

. It's only referenced in a snipet of VB code provided by Hitec to illustrate HMI. The code is 0xEF and it's function other than shutting off the servo motor is unclear.
I can't find any equivalent to motor on, but that might not be a problem either because the positioning commands (0x00-0x7F) will start the motors automatically.
