Nice job fitting it. Where can I buy one? Or do we have to wait for the year 2033?

onesandzeros, this might be a sensitive topic, but, umm, well, it appears from the pictures above that your RN-1 has, umm, man-boobs. Time for a robotic diet?

those are not man bumps their the noskid feet for the Hitec servo programmer that you need to send in for reprogramming already.what a cool mod if it would fit inside the armour it would be outrageous. does it have to have a backpack too?

runs on 9v . For now i just strap him up with a regular 9v.
i tried looking for smaller than regular size 9v batteries, but found non so far.
the extra weight of the 9v doesnt bother him though, he can still do all the moves perfectly.

The weight can significantly vary depending on the battery. I had some rechargeable NiCads that weighed almost nothing. I don't know why. One in the set was a 9-volt. Recently I bought a rechargeable Rayovac Ultra Nickel Metal Hydride 9-volt, and one Energizer Nickel Metal Hydride sold by Eveready Battery Company. The Energizer is significantly lighter. So check from manufacturer to manufacture for weight variance.

I had done the same thing a while back but not real happy with the video quality. see http://robosavvy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=156&highlight=camera
There are some ideas on how to get away from using the 9V battery.

I want to find a really small webcam so I can use it with my WiPort module and be able to do some remote image processing without having to use a capture card etc.
