The study of spacing between the two bi-peds seem to have similar effects! I have noticed that while the legs are spaced more that the cg of gravity is wide the returns to narrow at the peak of each step being brought back to allow the other leg raise. To me and this is my thought the space can be good and bad, while stability is greater in ( standard pose ) the whole body will have to move for the step to be completed? correct? This will cause the bot to have a more dramatic move.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
