There's been some interesting stuff on stair climbiong recently, particularly the idea of the RN-1 detecting the steps/stairs and its load (awesome stuff DirtyR!!!).

Just for those who may not want to get that deep into this at the moment we managed to achieve a simple stair climb just about a year ago. These are smaller steps than the regulation Robo1 steps and this is all done very slowly.
