I have now decided where to go with my RN. It is too limited for the humaniod work I want to research so I have chosen to make a new robot using the RN as the base.

I am drawing on influences from manga and anime and will produce an dynamic character that can be entered into competitions.

The characteristics I am looking to create are...
Sculpted head and hands with actions.
I will provide grip action, head pan and moving jaw.
I am designing and creating arm, body and leg shells based on manga.
I am modding the feet for a more robotic look.
I am going to add 5 mm length too all joint plates. This means custom fabrication of all of the RN alu plates. This adds an extra 20mm in height and reach.
I will add speech (to be linked to jaw) and BT.
I will design and add four weapons systems. I am still thinning out designs, but these will be active weapons built into the design.
I will use two projectile weapons and two fixed weapons.

I am looking to have him up and running by October but I will keep you updated with the progress.
