AHA! RIGHT THERE!

Closer to the end of this video, some guy is using a different controller for robonova, allowing it to run or scuddle around on it's feet.

Look!

See how the red robonova is running?

What is that controller?

Does anyone know?

Why do you think it's a different controller? That was taken at the Hitec exhibit, and all the other moves appear to be pretty stock. Looks like it's just a different set of motions, not a different controller. 8)

Look to the right when the robonova is shuffling.

Not only is he holding a PS2 controller, but as soon as he pushes the analog stick, it continuously walks, more like an RC car or a video game.

It still has a few of the original moves, but now it can continuously run without stopping, more like a fighting robot.

Take a closer look.

Not to be rude, but-

#1 - It would be helpful if you were clearer when you say 'controller'. Asking better questions often results in getting better answers.

#2- You're talking about the remote control, which only sends commands to the robot. It doesn't control how the robot actually walks. That's determined by the motions programmed into the robots onboard controller.

#3- There are at least two sets of contact information/websites prominently shown in the video. If you email either of them they would probably be happy to give you more information.... 8)

As you said so clearly - take a closer look....

Sorry.

I had a hard time explaining what it was.

I do know that you haft to program your own movements.

I was only using that as an example.

As for the website information.

I thought it was for robots-dreams.

Ill watch it once more to check the other site.

And I was not trying to be rude when I said take a closer look.

I was just trying to point out that it is a different controller.

Anyway, thanks again for the info on that other message I posted up.

I think that might be the controller in the video, but I am not sure.

That video was from the I-Hobby-Expo in Chicago. I saw the PS2 remote controller at the Hitec booth. I asked them questions about it and I got very few answers form them. They are still working on it and that was a prototype. They could not even tell me when it would come out!

Huh.

That's strange that they wouldn't tell you about it.

Hopefully they release something soon.

But until then, ill probably use something to take it's place.
