Hello! Well,i bought this gyro. Plastic case is absolutely same as on GWS pg-03. Also, i saw video from www.theoddrobot.com about giro. I made same code, but when i push robo it starts tilting forward-backward and if i dont stop him,it will fall) So, anybody can tll me the reason of this? even gain doesn't help.
Tried hitech code supplied in gyro instruction-robo hit table with his head so hard that even IR sensor cage smaced((.
Aslo, did u ever downloaded robobasic command instruction manual from robonova.com? it's unreadable and i cant find my cd(
Last thing, offtopic, i got Netmedia 4x20 LCD (9600baud), so as i found in other topic the only way to connect it is reprogramm robo controller. Can u share new program with me?

Thank u!

can it be that the gyro is mounted the wrong way and it is amplifying motion rather than damping ?

No,it instralled on shoulder, according to arrows on gyro body. Actually i did the tuning, but it greatly differs from what i read here, i got GYROSENCE about 20 for servo and gyro gain is less then a half. And i couldn't get anything looks like on oddrobots video

For the download, you may want to try again later. The download should start working. If not, another web site may do the trick. My download of robobasic worked fine from the Hitec web site. Sometimes a site will fail for no apparent reason and just check it later or the next day. Also, you may need to upgrade the Adobe PDF reader, if there's a problem with it.

If the CD is lost, don't panic. You can get even better newer updated materials from the Hitec web site in the downloads section.

Before hacking into your controller, which is no simple task, and start changing the baud rates, you may want to get the gyro working first and invest in a 4800 baud display which is simply plug-in compatible with the unmodified controller.

Tanks for reply!
Readable manual downloaded:)
About LCD-flashing for port baud rate is done, thanks to I-Bot and work excellent.
About gyro- it works, not any near to settings given in manual or in internet, but with my own, but it do).at least it works for not so powerfull hits and pushes
