I can't find this on the forum but I'm sure it's here somewhere.
Dose anyone know what servo will fit in side the RN for head rotation and dose it have to be one of the Hitec hsr servo or can I use any servo?

You could use any servo but check the servo voltage, the HSR8498 is 6.0-7.4V, you might have to use a diode dropper or something to ensure you don't overvolt it. Also some servos don't have feedback so bear that in mind if its something you need. I used an HSR422 with a 1N4006 diode for mine which squeezed in there ok.

I experimented with a standard Futaba "analog" servo, purchased from Parallax Inc.

http://www.parallax.com/

It has no digital feedback, so it doesn't have the Catch & Play feature - but it's easy to code it. These cost about $10 and are simple to install and plug in. You could also pick up one at your local hobby dealer. There's a RoboSavvy thread that talks about installing it.
