Damn !@#$! !!!!

I've powered on today my robonova, to continue working with the project..


and smoke went up from two servos..



Any ide why?

It's possible one or more cables from the servos shorted. After some use, if the cable wrap is not installed, the cables will wear through and short out. This is one thing to check.

New servos arrived,

the cable in the old servo was indeed cut ;/

You'll want to install cable wrap onto the servo cables when doing the new install to minimize any wear through in the future. I used a spiral wrap and installed it after my RN was built by "threading" it around each cable. It's very easy for the wires to become pinched in several positions without the wrap. With the wrap, no pinching has occurred.
