3.3 regulated sensor cable

Hi :)

Instead of modding the controller board to use 3.3V, I kept it at 5V and modified a servo cable to convert 5V to 3.3V "inline" for my sparkfun accelerometer.

I used SMD components and the regulator is a switchmode one so it is extremely small and extremely efficient.

The cable looks like a normal servo cable except for a small bump near the middle where the components are. The cable basically fits into the 5V controller board on one end and the 3.3V sensor on the other end with the voltage conversion happening in the middle of the cable.

Just getting the idea out there...I'll post details and component product numbers if anyone is interested in making one themselves. If there's enough interest I can make these up for people once I find a cheap local supply of sensor cables.
