Yesterday morning came my Robonova from Germany. Probably the first one in Finland. Now making him up.

Last night he was FINISH (ed). It is splendid that first time pover up and I can play with the IR-remote!!!!!
All is good, only he is leaning litle bit backwards, it is not servo horn promlem. I have not have time yet to install computer programs and check it there.

zero seting

Install the program and use zero setting to make him stand straight.

Now I have got him standing stright by centerin servos. Same time I tried som programmin and managed to zero the controll board. I installed from the CD the Overall Tempate Program and after that the blue light is blinking: short-short-long, same time I got out of battery. I charged the battery, and light is still blinking.
When I had build him up, the light was steady.
Is that short-short-long light any code, whitch would have to response?

I believe that this is a known issue. You will probably also find that when your robot is blinking, it does not reliably respond to the remote control.
If you look at the last page of your RoboNova manual, you will see a section about low voltage warning setup.
There is a schematic with two resistors. These resistors going to AD7 are not built into the RoboNova. If you do wire this up, be careful not to make the same mistake that I did of using the voltage on the three pin connector associated with AD7 as this voltage is regulated to +5V and does not do you very much good to measure it.
The easiest way to temporarily resolve this is to go into the Robobasic code and comment out the call to robot_voltage.

I will try. However I don't have my RoboNova with me right now so it will be by memory. Maybe some other member could take some pictures and show exactly how they did it.
Also I did a typo and it should be AD6 not AD7.

I then hooked up the other end to the signal pin (the pin most in on the connection. I hooked up the second resistor to this same inside pin and hooked up the second end of this resistor to a the V+ connection of one of the unused servos, as the servos voltage pin is the unregulated voltage.
Hitech has a manual that shows the locations of these pins that you can download from their website. The one that I downloaded MR-C3024 Specification I downloaded from: http://www.hitecrobotics.com/info/downloads.htm

I'm retailer of the Robonova-I, last time I asssembled and programmed some of them.
The problems with the remote were solved if you erase the memory and download to the buttons part after part in one session. It worked every time. I don't like soldering on this board.

I erased the memory 5 times and installed the Overall tempate Program after memory erasing, but every tme the blue light is still blinking.
I bought two servo cables. I will solder resistors midle of them and put other connector to a fre servo pins so that the resisrtors will be in servo-0 and servo-pover pins, and resistor's other ends solder together and to same point line of the other servo cable and put other cabels conector to AD6 so that resistors common point goes to AD6 innermost pin.
I hope that some one will understand what I mean
