Hello or should I say Konnichiwa to all of my fellow savvy roboteers.
After allot of travel over the last 8 months I have finally returned home and managed to get back to some roboto fun. After an emotional reunion with my pair of RN's I gave them a full charge cycle and a few mods. Takeshi my original RN is much the same but he has a few slack servos and is showing his operational age, while my new RN bought from Carl in the USA is the buff model we all know and love untill I stuck the Zebra servo in his head and slapped the grippers on him.
As you may all know, my deal is in programming the RN to perform outside its standard setup and after having a few fun fights using my old routines I have just started putting together some combat stuff. Now I can test out the moves in a real situation and tweak them real good.
I am on a training course (Cisco) for the next week so it only leaves me limited time, but after the course I should have a nice set of moves and videos to present for your enjoyment.
At the moment I have some good fast walks and rotations along with some sweet sidesteps and crouched walks. Bare with me as I need to make some combat moves and sling it all into a tight template that sits well on the remcon.
Just on a non-robot update, I am now engaged to a wonderful woman I met in Japan. We are hoping to get married with her parents approval in mid 2009. I will be moving to Japan to live my life with her there.
