I have a dell laptop with windows xp. I have a serial to usb adaptor. In remocom it will tell it what to do but I cannot center the servos or communicate with robobasic. This is my first time with robots and I have tried to trouble shoot my own problems but I cannot center the bot. A error #42 line 436. Not too sure what this means, maybe you guys could help me. If anyone lives in south SF bay area could help me would be great to check out what I have done. Thanks ahead of time, Mannysouza.

Do you got this error while compiling? If yes, then you should check your code on that line (436)

Thanks for the reply. I'm really new to this. I know that I have not messed with the codes. Could you tell me what line 436 should be? Maybe this could remedy the problem.

Make sure you have the right controller selected in robobasic. At the top of the screen look in "Set/ Controller Type". You should have the MR-C3024 selected. If not change it to this one and try to compile the code again.

My code(overall template v1) says SPEED i

Tohm thanks for the help. you got me through that hump. Now I have a problem downloading. By chance is there a number to call for help through Hitec Robotics. I've looked trough the manual and can't find their number. thanks again everyone.
