If you're looking to hook up an LCD the port outputs at 4800 Baud 8 data bits, 1 stop bit and no parity. Haven't had a chance to try the Hitec PCD but that is definately the port settings. Also haven't tried the Hitec Bluetooth but the BlueSmirf from Sparkfun seems to work. Others have had it up for a while and I am just implementing it on my RN1.

As an added bonus, the range is excellent. I can conrol my RoboNova from opposite ends of my house!
