hey i'm very new still with the whole robot thing, ive got a little experience programming moves into the nova but thats about all at the moment (im running off a tight budget) anyway i wanted to add it some accelerometers and gyro's to give it more complexity, but rather than add the bits in one at a time i came across this:

http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc ... cts_id=741

is there even the slightest chance this will work with the nova? i realise that it runs at a different voltage and would require a madness of wiring but would it be compatible? it would be helpful to know before i take another plunge with what i got saved up. thanks for the help!

This latest version allows an unheard of 5 axis of sensing (Roll, Pitch, X, Y, Z) in less than 1 square inch, and under 2 grams!

very cool

No reason why not. It's going on my shopping list. I have been running the ADXL330 board on my RN. That board just adds the additional Gyro outputs. The question is how do you come up with a workable control algorithm in Robobasic to utilize those nice new sensors.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
