Hi

We just found out about a new Voice Recognition Module for Robonova I.

The module is actually compatible with any application that has a TTL port but they took special care with Robonova: it is fully supported and developped included sample RoboBasic code, etc.

The demo video is here:
phpBB [media]

It's quite long but I can tell you the interesting bit of the demo where he gives voice commands to the Robot is after the 9th minute.
The first 9 minutes are about explaining how to assemble it and show all the programming capabilities.

I am now waiting for pricing information as well as additional specs.

What are your thoughts on this?

Hi guys

I have now further info from the manufacturer:

Quick start for Robonova I - http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/VRb ... BONOVA.pdf

VRbot protocol (protocol on the TTL serial line):

I'd really like to know your thoughts on this module and how interesting you find it :)
We're considering adding it to our product portfolio.

Regards
Pedro.

We finally got some pics.

Here they are:

I can also confirm Robosavvy will be stocking this module starting the second week of September.

Pricing for the module including all cables and software should be around 39,20 GBP inc VAT which I believe is quite competitive given the product's quality and how nicely it integrates into Robonova.

As I mentioned the module can also be used with any other processor/platform that has a TTL UART such as Arduino, PIC, etc.
