power adapter supply remplacement ??

I read that one did not have to use the charger as food,

but batterry discharges quickly when one makes programs!!!
I can have a power adapter 6V cd. 1A, is what I can connect it to the place of connector battery (i have similar plug connector) it ny does not have risks??

Do you mean to ask if you can use a normal power adapter with 6V DC 1A output with a similar plug?

I see you're from paris. Do you mind reposting what you said in french because I for one have my doubts about what you mean.

Some customers have been using the robot while the charger is connected. This will cause problems. Neither the servos nor the controller is designed for the higher voltage the charger provides. To insure the proper lifespan of the product, disconnect the charger before turning the robot on.

You can unplug the battery and use an external supply in place of the battery but it would really need to be able to supply more than 1 Amp. I would suggest a regulated 6.5VDC supply that can supply 5 Amps or more. You can often find good bench power supplys from HP on Ebay for less than $50.

Yess ok but why 6.5 VDC & 5 A , the original battery its NIMH 6V 1A
(the accumulator its really 1.2 V constant at 1.1 V ) 1A it is not sufficient ???

The battery is rated at 1Amp/Hour that doesn't mean that that is the max current that the battery supplies. The RoboNova can draw 3+ Amps at times. I say 6.5V because that is closer to what the battery voltage actually is and gives a bit more headroom for the regulator.
