Hello Everybody,

Does anyone else think that the 2x8 screws for the
Head/neck install seem a bit long?
They seem to intefere with a flat mate of the head and
the neck(horn)
Page 37.

How did you guys install the head?

Thanks,
DK

Well, i never actually had a stock robonova, when i built mine i slipped another servo right up in his chest there (its a tight fit) but that, and a small steel piece sitting on the servo horn lets me have a nice rotating head (as seen in my "day in the life of a robot" video). But even then i believe i still used those screws because the plastic on the head rises up a bit, so there seemed to be plenty of room.

That is because Page 37 is wrong.

From the Wiki:
page 37 - the manual says to "secure the HR1B-007 bracket to the body using ten PH/T 2.6x4mm bolts". False.
To attach the bracket you must PH/M 2.6x4mm

Hope it helps,
