I'm trying to find out how many others have had problems with HSR-8498HB servos. In two robots I've had 5 servos fry. I use a stock battery in both robots. My servos all died without being under any load. I think Hitec has a quality control problem with their motors and I'd like your help in bringing it to their attention.
It took Hitec 6 weeks to replace my first two servos and now they are reluctant to replace any more. These are expensive servos and I think Hitec should honor their warranty without requiring the robot be shipped back to them.
Let me know what you thnk.

Yes, I agree with you on this, just because other ppl hasn't had a problem doesnt mean that every one will not...Maybe the vlt reg or high stress loads...I have came across this issue a few times...I worry aswell, my servo's put out alot of heat.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
