Wiring squeeze?

Enhancements now include wiring for 3 extra servos (head + 2 x gripper), 2 x gyro, 2 axis tilt sensor, 2 LEDs controlled from the 3 PWM ports, and a resistor to enable voltage sensing. I know many others have done most of these things; I'm struggling to make all the wires fit inside the back case, it is a big squeeze. Anyone else having this issue?

Me too. It feels like somethings gonna break everytime I put the back cover on mine now. (Nothing does btw)

Yup, i have had that all along, I'm always a little worried it either wil break or wont fit everytime I attempt it, i have two gyros, a 3d accelerometer, bluetooth, twi-colour LEDs, 21 total servos...but it still all fits in there (w00t).

I know this is old, but what I did was buy a bunch (12) of connector sockets and bodies and trim the servo leads down in length, It makes for a ton of room when you want two gyros, two axis accelerometer and the voltage monitor. the bluetooth soon or sonar.

Engineer, do you have a pic of that? Trying to imagine what it looks like. I had some problems with space and the back pack cover too. So many wires and had a pinched cable which I corrected. I'm planning to get one of the vacu-forms and make a new cover, eventually. For now, I worry about RN falling and landing on one of the external modules. These are temp rigged so they can be moved or removed. I don't have anything permanently mounted, because every new add-on leads to moving something else. So, guys, what's the list look like so far? Like this - gyros, accelerometer, sonar, camera, grippers, speech synthesizer, speech recognition board, more batteries, neoprene shoes, and knitted hat?

(If you need to keep a few wires outside of the cover) I've had good success with these wire connectors from Radio Shack. They're made from black plastic, are light weight, and snap together easily. They can be applied and then removed many times. They seem to work better than a wire tie which risks cutting a wire during removal. One is shown here next to a penny. Humanoido

Hey guys, so far the list goes:two gyros in the sholders W/ports to adjust sense, gain, and a window forthe LED to shine through, tilt module,B/T module (thanks PEV it does fit under the front armour) W/a window so the connection LED can be seen,two grippers (that are just hanging till I program some moves for them),two tricolored LED's for eyes (that don't yet respond to PWM 0,25 or PWM1,25), and a neck servo that scans on stand_up. I definitly had to trim the servo leads down for length or I wouldn't be able to get the back armour on. Plus, now I need the G2d12,so I can beat up on Captain Crunch boxes. With Derek Zahn around you know we'll never be masters of the universe. what a robot, he needs to go show honda what they're doing wrong with the money.
