In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

I came across some nifty stuff in Japan... Figured some of you may like to see what's around the corner...

Possible color options for the RN-1:

Includes: Black, Silver, Red, Purple, Blue, and the standard Gold.

Replacement servos for the 5995's:

...Who wants some torque and speed to boot? :D

I had the chance to see these suckers in action on the robot known as "Arius". They scream like the 5995's, but are fast and powerful. I'll see if I can't post the video sometime soon... have a lot to do though.

Arius (Sumi Family) is totally awesome, and unbelievably fast-

Here's a quick video. My view of the table wasn't the best so I had to shoot the big-screen. Gives a good example of the performance improvements Hitec's making anyway.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGF6DXyGq8w

I know Sumi-san is using mostly the 5990's (ultra-torque) in his legs. I ran into him in the elevator, but due to language differences, it was a bit hard understanding each other at times and getting the nitty-gritty. Enjoy! :D

From what I gather, the 5498SG's are totally swappable w/ the 8498HB's std. on the RN-1. The 5990's are ment to replace any 5995's for full catch-n-play support.

Amen at that... anything more durable than the "Karbonite" sounds good to me :)

Looking at the specs, though, the 5990s have less torque and are slightly slower than the 5995s......
