HI there
I've been digging around the net for a while to try and find a humanoid robot that I could afford, would enjoy messing around with and learn about robots and programing. The Robabnova 1 looks like it would suit my needs. I'm completely new to robots but have experience in RC modelling and am adequate with computers.
The other robots I am considering are the KHR 2HV and the Bioloid. I must admit I do like the look of the Robonova out of the three and there also seems to be loads of add ons and modifications available. I've downloaded RoboBasics, RoboScript and SimRoboto to look at and get a feel for the whole thing, as well as reading through posts on here.
What I'm trying to avoid is buying a particular robot then wishing I had spent a bit more and got a different one.
Not really knowing the pros and cons of each model, Do you think the Robonova 1 would be a good place to start??
Thanks!
