Do the HSR-8498HB servos come in different configurations or are they all the same where you just re-configure the case?

Thanks.

Marcus.

here is the content of the Hitec HSR-8498HB servo box:

The servo is reconfigured to both types as in the RN1 kit.

I'll try and find some time to post some pics about this at some point. Also, this'll be good for those of you who have bought grips and followed the directions for positioning and routing leads.... Here's an alternate way of getting all the lead wires on your bot symmetrical.

The back-plate on the servo casing (shown top-center in limor's pic) is removed exposing the mosfets & stuff. You'll see where the lead wire exits the casing... on the opposing side you'll notice a tab there. This tab can be snapped off. Place the lead wire over the circuit board and insert the rubber grommet where that tab resided. Don't worry, after removing all the slack from the wire, there is enough room on top of the board (free of sharp solder points etc.) that you won't need to remove the board/motor ass'y & fish wire underneath it all. Return the cover-plate and screws from whence they came and your set.
